Chiyo Sunglasses - Gotham

Eva Masaki

A modern aviator frame rendered fully in Italian acetate named after Eva Masaki’s mother Chiyo, who came of age as a Japanese woman living in America in the 1960s and 70s. A celebration of the name Chiyo (ch-ee-yo), meaning “one thousand generations” in Japanese, the frames are an enduring style with an updated approach. Sensibly oversized and narrow through the temples, the hexagonal frame is designed to fit a wide range of face shapes. Handmade in Northern Italy from cellulose acetate by Mazzucchelli.

Night sky frame with charcoal lens. Inspired by the star-filled sky and evening glow of New York City.

Dimensions: eye 52 mm, bridge 18 mm, temple 141 mm

100% UV protected lenses
